Our Client

Currently hiring an Infrastructure Director with a Digital Technology Company in UAE.

Your responsibilities will include;

Lead a team of talented engineers responsible for creating robust, highly available applications hosted across multiple cloud environments..
Drive the planning, development, and implementation of all cloud hosting technologies and associated best practices.
Oversee the development of operational guidelines, infrastructure, and tools necessary to support our application portfolio. Foster cross-training among teams for enhanced proficiency.
Provide strategic and architectural guidance, influencing development teams to realize our technology vision across company platforms and services.
Supervise operational and service management processes for our cloud platform to achieve quality, security, efficiency, and agility objectives.
Act as the escalation point for all production incidents on managed applications, ensuring timely incident resolution.
Own, operate, and maintain stakeholder services. Implement Agile methodologies for continuous customer value delivery and establish an on-call incident escalation and response process for the team.
Instigate best practices to ensure high-quality, well-architected, and supportable code. Lead architecture design and coding reviews and foster a Continuous Integration environment.
Serve as the technical owner of our company's platform, resolving roadblocks and managing communications with stakeholders and dependent teams. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement through retrospection.
Empower engineers to achieve higher levels of productivity, reliability, and scalability.

Desired Skills And Experience

Hands-on leadership experience with 5+ years of technical expertise in architecting and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS and multi-cloud environments.
Proficiency in automation, orchestration, configuration management tools, containers, NoSQL databases, monitoring tools, CI/CD tools, and application security.
Familiarity with telecom protocols (e.g., SMPP and SIP), Kubernetes, drone CI, Git, AWS, F5, Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
Fluent in English with exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Software, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Strong analytical skills to translate customer requirements into functional specifications.
Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment where requirements and priorities may evolve frequently.
Exceptional attention to detail while maintaining a strategic perspective.
Ability to collaborate extensively with offshore teams on a daily basis
