IT Manager Required in Dubai - Dubai

We are looking for an IT Manager with experience in maintaining networks, servers and security programs and systems, manage the upgrade and installation of new hardware and software, perform troubleshooting to address any problems with computer systems, and assess viruses and potential network threats.

Key responsibilities:

Assess existing network serves, operating systems and security programs.
Maintain and configure computer systems and network servers.
Install and configure software and hardware.
Onboarding new staff- set up accounts and workstations.
Monitor performance of systems
Configure VPN
Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
Build manuals and IT policies.
Assess security programs; run regular checks for viruses and spyware.
Manage all software licenses.
Liaise with vendors to negotiate best prices.
Create and manage backup systems and data retrieval processes.
Manage desktop and helpdesk support ticket system, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in timely manner with limited disruptions.
Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or System Administration.
3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience.
System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus.
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Mac, Windows).
Knowledge of remote management tools like Anydesk.
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
Excellent communication skills.
