Human Resources Assistant Required in Dubai - Dubai

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, the HR Assistant will support with all elements of the employee life cycle including the delivery of HR services and programs, including recruitment, onboarding, talent management, career development, learning programs, retention, and employee relations. The HR assistant will also support with the maintenance of the HRIS systems and provide administration assistance to daily tasks.

Required Competencies, Qualifications and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field required
· Minimum of one years’ experience in a HR Assistant role, preferably in a MNC Pharmaceutical within the region
· English as a first language is essential
· Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Induction & Onboarding:

Assist with the onboarding and induction process for all new hires including initiating onboarding process with welcome email, collecting onboarding documents and preparing new hire announcements.
Support line manager with frequent follow up on reference checks and outstanding new hire documents.
Prepare, organize, and maintain physical and digital copies of employee records, using the HRIS.
Check official documents for authenticity and compliance with local regulations.
Communicate with managers to arrange job specific training.
Plan and organize 6-month check-ins with new hires.

Employee Relations:

Knowledgeable with human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and updating new and existing employees.
Support employees and managers with the HRIS, including additions and deletions.

Recruitment:

Update job requirements, job descriptions, and competency checklists for all positions.
Plan and schedule interviews and assessment centres.
Assist with KSA Graduate Programme.

Employee Engagement:

Coordinate and assist with employee engagement initiatives.
Assist with the implementation of Employee Opinion Survey.
Support the HR function with employee PR Communications

Performance Management:

Assist with performance management procedures.
Assist with the coordination of training courses and consolidate online training records.
Plan and implement 1-2-1 Development process.

HRIS Assistant:

Assist with additions of new employees on HRIS system
Assist with deletions of staff leavers on HRIS System
Assist with employee letters on HRIS for UAE team
Manage HRIS help desk for users, and coordinate trouble shooting with HRIS IT Consultant

Administration:

Serve as the point of contact for HR-related inquiries in the capacity of a help desk coordinator.
Prepare HR announcements and share on the YouBridge platform.
Support with medical insurance including managing tracker and dealing with enquiries, complaints and claim reimbursement issues.
